Back Pain

This includes upper, middle and lower back pain with/without sciatic pain. Nerve and muscle problems as well as joint/spine and disc disorders especially arthritis and degeneration in the elderly can cause back pain. Problems in the back and spine can be be a major cause of problems in other areas of your body.

Neck Pain

Pain can be felt not only in the neck but often into the shoulder and sometimes causes symptoms referring down the arm as far as the fingers.

Shoulder and Upper Body Pain

Pain can result from local muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and nerves as well as referred pain from the neck and other structures.

Hip and Lower Body Pain

Pain can result from local muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints and nerves as well as referred pain from the back and other structures

Headaches, Migraines & Sinusitis

There are different causes for headaches felt anywhere on the head and from the neck up. The most common types of headaches include tension-type, cluster, migraine and sinus headaches as well as other more severe kinds.

TMJ Disorders (Jaw Pain)

  • The most common causes of jaw pain are from joint disorders and injury as well as pain as a result of teeth grinding and clenching, which can be very stress related, arthritis and other dental and health issues.
  • Associated symptoms can include headaches, earaches, clicking/popping sounds in your jaw and difficulty opening your mouth.

Posture Disorders

The three main types of spinal curvature disorders are:

  1. Kyphosis
  2. Lordosis
  3. Scoliosis

These can result in muscular imbalances such as upper and lower cross syndrome which causes some muscles to be weak while others to be tight resulting in pain.
